Cam is growing up

My brother, Gabriel MacFarland, AKA Cameron, is sure growing up and I am so proud of him! He went through the temple and received his endowments on the 23rd of December. Unfortunately I don't have any of his pictures by the temple, but these are all from dinner at Sizzler after. While the endowed members of the family were joining Cam in this amazing experience, I took the 3 younger kids and did baptisms for the dead. It was Curtis' first time so I was grateful that I was able to go with him. One funny thing that happened...so curt was putting on his "suit" and he put it on so the zipper was in the back! He was all sorts of confused because he couldn't do it up all the way and he couldn't bend down! Luckily, Colin was there to correct him before he came out of the dressing room! I just love my family so much and am so grateful that we are all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It brings us all the happiness in the world and without it, we would be nothing.

Christmas 2oo9

Well Christmas 2009 was quite the event. It has come and gone, and many memories were made. Our family version of the nativity never disappoints. One funny line from this years nativity came from me...here it goes.
Mom: So why do you always get to be Mary?
Britt: Well, there are two reasons...
1. I am the prettiest
2. I am a virgin
I must admit it was pretty funny! And obviously she didn't disagree because I was Mary again this year!

we lost a close friend today
beloved lincoln polatis left this world
but he is in a better place...
We had so many good times with lincoln. He was always willing to come with us where ever we wanted to go. He loved to come swimming with us and even accompanied us to Vegas on Halloween night.
He only ever asked for one thing...that we treat him with respect, and in return he gave us the ride of our lives!
We will miss you lincoln!
We love you!

Dear Lincoln-- I miss you oh so much! You were a good sport in all that we did...we went through alot together...through all the ups and downs. There were only a couple times that I doubted you....things got a little heated...but you were able to come back to a normal temp.

John and Shea came down to visit recently. We had a really fun time hanging out with them, but whats' new? We always have a blast! They are so much fun and we LOVE having them down here! Cam and I basically lived at the condo for a couple days. It was nice to have a break from real life and be close to family again. I even had the opportunity to "work" Shea at the gym! ha it was funny! Here is a direct quote..."You are too hardcore Britt. I just want to go back and work out in Logan like I always do!" I'm sure she appreciated it the next day tho when she couldn't walk! Love you long time Shea!!

hOw RUDE!!!

So...I was fulfilling my civic duty the other day...minding my own business helping people at work, and I came out to find this...someone had banderjacked my car. I just love people sometimes. No note, no nothin. Just plain rude! Well, turns out I have a 1000 dollar deductible and my dad doesn't want me to file a claim... so this was my early Christmas present! yay! Paying out 2700 dollars to fix something that I didn't even do! What??? That doesn't sound right does it? I am just praying that KARMA shows herself soon...No one should get away with this...

We made a special trip to visit him the other night...he was a great waiter! His shirt was a bit on the small side tho. Pretty sure that has been taken care of!

So Swagg drove us out in the middle of nowhere the other day. Thought he was gonna kill us. But it ended up that he just wanted to shoot some clay pigeons. We had a really good time! Let's just say that shooting isn't my forte, but swagg, cam, adam, swagg's date dani, and sarah were doing really good! At least I looked pretty holding a gun! Swagg upheld his reputation as being the real "Bob Lee" and we all really enjoyed ourselves!

Happy Birthday to ME!
My birthday this year was awesome! Cam, Linds, and Sarah took the liberty of planning a little surprise party for me!! Thanks guys! First we went to dinner at Pizza Factory and I got my free "22" shaped pizza, which was delicious by the way, and then I came home to a house full of friends! The night consisted of silly string all over me (Thanks Mitch!), ice cream cake from DQ, opening presents, singing (mainly from Linds), and a chip n' dale dance from Cam and Swagg. (if you would like to see the pictures and video...hit me up later! They are not really appropriate to post!) :)
After the crowd started winding down, we decided to go to the midnight showing of "Blindside" which was so good. All in all my birthday was perfect and all thanks goes to my fam! Thanks so much! I love you all!
