Since it is Valentine's Day I have to give props to my wonderful boyfriend/missionary. He had his mom send me 3 red roses today and wrote me a sweet note through an email to my sister. He is too good...really I couldn't ask for someone more romantic and perfect! This is the email he sent to shea. I had to post it because I love it!

hey shaolin thanks for your email. Hey could you do a huge favor for me? I just want you to call britt on valentines day and set apart like a half hour just to talk. And tell her i love her more than anything and that i miss her big time! If you could do that, that would be amazing. Thanks so much shea. Sorry i dont have more time, but thanks for your letter and keep being awesome. Peace out shaolin, i love you

My mom (Carolyn) my sis (Shea) and my bro (Cam) came down for a little visit this weekend. My mom took us out to dinner because she is so nice and loves to spoil us when she comes down! ha ha! Anyways, we enjoyed a night at the Olive Garden and my Aunt Renee got to come along! We had a good night and took a lot of fun pictures!

VEGAS BABY!

Lindsey, Andra, and I went to Vegas this last weekend for a girls getaway! It was so much fun! We left on Friday after Andra and I got out of class and then had to be back by 3 on Saturday because I had to work, so it was a short trip but so worth it! We checked into our room at the Luxor and got hit on by some drunk guys from L.A. right from the start! It was great! As they left the elevator they said, "Bye St. George! Sexy Ladies!" ha ha gotta love it!

...then we made a toast to our new adventure..."Welp, here's to Vegas!"

After our toast, we walked from our hotel to the Miracle Mile Shops on the Strip. We made a couple stops along the way and took advantage of the photo opportunities! Lindsey got a bit upset at the guys handing out "cards" on the strip so she said that if anyone else shoved a porn card in her face she was going to slap their hands! I wish she would have! Also while we were walking, a gentleman found Andra's hips something astounding! "Look at those hips! Move em, move em! Those look good!" Oh yeah baby!


Us girls love to shop obviously so we spent most the afternoon just cruisin around finding deals. Andra and I had to pose for some shots of our finds...we really did not buy these things, promise!

This picture sums up the idea of a "big boy drink!" This idea took on a whole new meaning during our adventure! Everyone had big boy drinks, EVERYONE!

We tried on some outfits, and yes, even some over the clothes! (Andra)

We walked where Cameron Diaz walked and just felt like we were in the movie! All we needed was Ashton Kutcher!

Next, CHEESECAKE FACTORY! This experience was amazing! The pictures explain all...oh and we really did eat two pieces of cheesecake. An oreo fudge and a vanilla bean, both I highly recommend! Too good! And for the record, Andra did NOT eat that entire burrito!

After our delightful meal, we hit up the Bath and Body Works sale! As Linds said, "3 dollars! These are great gifts!" She ended up leaving the store with a big boy bag because she bought so much stuff! They do make great gifts tho Linds! I'll give you that! We also got our make-up done at Estee Lauder. They did a good job and I invested in some of their new mascara...i liked it and it spins so yeah...2 points for me!
We took a taxi back to the hotel after our shopping splurge was over. As stated by Andra, "That was the best 10 bucks we've ever spent!" Lets just say that our feet hurt pretty bad and we were all so tired! While we were in the taxi, Andra asked Lindsey if her feet hurt and she profoundly said, "Well, my feet don't really hurt but my calves, thighs, back, and neck all do!" Poor girl! It was pretty funny though!
Now, I would tell you how the rest of our night went, but as they say, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas..." You might ask if Thunder Down Under was involved??? Maybe...maybe not...


So...we woke up the next morning and grabbed some breakfast at a cafe in the hotel and then headed home. Lindsey fed me a peach from our yogurt goodness and as you can see we all wore our twinner black jackets! love it!

Our Vegas trip really was all that we hoped it would be!

MarAthOn nUmbER 2

hmm...It seems like we are having a lot of number 2's lately. Interesting.

So I have been debating on whether to do my Pharamcology homework or blog some more, and as you can see, blogging won. I'm sure you all appreciate it though, right!

This was our second marathon as water/gatorade girls so we were experienced and seasoned. We have all been inspired to run a half marathon so we'll see what happens with that. Linds had excellent technique when it came to the "hand-off" so I captured it on camera. (see below) Sarah and I manned the clean-up crew and got one too many cups of water and gatorade splashed on our clothes. Oh well!
We got pretty sweet sweaters this time around, and have worn them many times since. After the marathon we were all starving so we hit up the Villiage Inn again, but sorry, no pictures this time.

BoNfiRE...#2

We made our presence at another bonfire a couple weeks ago. This one was really fun and involved more than 5 people! There were actually a lot of fun peeps there and we had a fun night and made a lot of new friends. Our original plan for the night was the Secondhand Serenade concert in Vegas, but that fell through so we opted for the bonfire. We ended up riding with this kid named Chris in his sweet red jeep. We hit it off with him, but he had eyes for Linds. She won't admit it, but Sarah and I knew from the beginning! Ha ha...anyways, we decided to have our own Secondhand Serenade concert because we missed it, so we blasted all the classics and had a great time! All in all, it was legit and we are prepared to do it again whenever Adam calls...

So Sarah, Candace, Michael, and I (Brittany) went to Bride Wars a couple weeks ago...

We loved it! So we walked into the theater and it was totally empty! ha ha. it was really funny so we took some pictures of it! Sarah also got a picture with her favorite saying! We all know she LOVES bad boys...


We are so seeing "He's just not that into you" when it comes out!
